Water-stained walls repaired and repainted, outdated trim replaced with matched profiles, and 80-year-old oak floors sanded and refinished to their original appearance.
The homeowners wanted a brighter, more open interior without changing the character of the home. Damaged plaster was repaired and skim-coated, then the entire interior was repainted in a warm neutral that works with the original woodwork.
Original baseboard and casing were removed, repaired and reinstalled with profiles milled from the existing stock so the new pieces match the old exactly \u2014 a detail that is immediately visible and almost impossible to fake.
The floors were the true gem. Rather than replacing 80-year-old oak, we sanded the existing floor, repaired the damaged boards and refinished it to open-pore protection, bringing back grain that had been hidden for decades.
